out of 5It was a nice stay. The hotel was nice, in a fantastic location (centre of Canterbury) with a good bar. Basic rooms were a decent size. A little expensive for what it was, but overall a nice experience.

out of 5Upon arrival we were treated like royalty but the hotel could not find our reservation-a mis communication between Superbreak & abode perhaps. After finding email confirmation we were treated to free champagne & an upgrade to the most amazing room for our troubles. Fantastic staff from start to finish. We used to live in canterbury & were returning for a birthday treat. The abode was definately the best choice & i have never had such attentive & first class service. Although we only visited the bars in the evening & no other attractions, we know canterbury is an amazing place to spend time!.

out of 5Lots of footpaths leading out of town to the Stour Valley walk- gets prettier as you get further out. Faversham has lots of historic architecture well worth a look and some great pubs.

out of 5The Abode hotel is comfortable and clean with very attractive decor. Let itself down badly with breakfast though - having decided not to do a hot buffet, the service was very slow and the cooked breakfast, when it finally arrived of poor quality. Certainly not a 4 star event.
