out of 5It was a quiet weekend away where we did just what we wanted to do, when we wanted to do it! Mainly we were away to do some serious shopping at the many great shopping outlets of Aberdeen.

out of 5The hotel was lovely although we asked for a quiet room we were given a room at the front of the hotel. During the night we were kept awake by the noise of the traffic and some drunken ladies who sang very loudly as they walked down the road at 3am in the morning!

out of 5The purpose of our visit was to see my older son who is a student in Aberdeen. My younger son accompanied me and the attractions we visited were his idea. The Gordon Highlanders Museum is a wee bit from the city centre, but the 3 mile walk we had was worth it. The staff were friendly and let us in even though we had arrived 15 minutes before opening. Satrosphere and Codona's are both for children and my 9 year old certainly enjoyed the time we spent there. Satrosphere is a hands on science attraction for children which puts fun into physics and how the world around us works.Codona's fun fair has plenty to offer children of all ages. We particularly enjoyed the crazy golf.
