About Blood Brothers
Since first opening in the West End in 1988, Blood Brothers Musical has won countless awards, delighted thousands of theatre goers and become one of the greatest musicals of all time. The story follows the lives of twin boys, separated at birth, only to be reunited later in life through strange and tragic events.
After being separated, the boys grow up on opposite side of the tracks with their lives developing in stark contrast, leading to one finding success whilst the other suffers hardship. Then in coincidental circumstances, their lives cross paths, both in friendship and hatred. Delving into the ideas surrounding nature vs. nurture as well as the socially potent themes of inequality and unemployment, the Blood Brothers musical is a truly gripping show.
