out of 5Good value for money. You can spend all day there no problem aviemore speaks for itself, plenty to do if you like the outdoor life. Have been many times and will return again.

out of 5Although initially disappointed in the size of our double room (and particularly the en-suite, which was tiny!) the room was clean and comfortable and the staff friendly and polite. The hotel was ideally situated for many of the area's attractions and over 2 days we enjoyed a round of golf, a trip on a steam train, a tour of a distillery and a wander round the local heather centre (where once again the staff were exceptionally helpful).

out of 5We flew up, Manchester to Inverness and hired a car. We were really lucky with the weather - unlike the rest of the UK - during our stay. On the dry days we kept mainly to the coast - dolphin watched etc. - went to Loch Ness and Culloden. On our one rainy day we went to Cawdor Castle. Overall we had a fantastic time.

out of 5Easy and beautiful drive up A9 Walked for miles on beautiful beach and took amazing photos of winter sunshine Cathedral worth a visit and castle hotel.Craiglynne very warm and comfortable but in need of refurbishment in some areas. very good base for beaches mountains riverside walks opportunities for great photos of different terrains all in easy reach - not forgrtting the wildlife too stunning area
