out of 5We have stayed at the aston dumfries on a few ocasions now. Breakfast on the first morning was sorely disappointing however on the 2nd and 3rd mornings there was a vast improvement. Dinner on the 1st evening of our stay was also disappointment with the aston pie of the day (chicken and veg) and a side order of chips being absolutely delicious to the potatoes and vegetables being cold. We also had a lengthy wait to have our dinner served. On the whole we enjoyed our stay.

out of 5Disturbed sleep in late evening and early hours of morning due to wedding guests being noisy in corridors and outside windowHotel lift broken down on first day - Hotel did change room due to amount of luggage we had. Ground floor room did not help the above problem with noise.

out of 5Very comfortable and clean room - never slept so well! Only ate Breakfast at the Aston Hotel as we wanted to try out a couple of local restaurants but food was good. Loads to see and do in the area, especially if you like to go walking or touring.Hotel easy to find and very good value for money. Second time we have stayed here and we would certainly recommend it.
