About Dirty Dancing
Set in the New York Catskill Mountains resort in the summer of 1963, Dirty Dancing, London follows the life of Frances “Baby” Houseman, a 17 year old girl on holiday with her family and bored to death. That is until she stumbles upon a dance party held in the staff’s quarters and comes across Johnny Castle the resort’s hunky and rebellious dance instructor.
This is the start of an exciting and electrifying relationship, where their two very different worlds collide. Johnny teaches Baby all his moves and everything he knows about the beauty and passion of dancing and their relationship blossoms both on and off the dance floor. However, when it comes to the end of summer and the final show, will Baby’s stern farther let her dance with the man of her dreams?
