About We Will Rock You
The We Will Rock You Musical is the biggest rock phenomenon to hit the West End and is loved by audiences of all ages. Created by Queen and Ben Elton and seen by over 11 million people world wide, We Will Rock You continues to have audiences singing in the aisles with over 24 classic Queen hits including Killer Queen, Bohemian Rhapsody and of course, We Will Rock You.
Guests on a We Will Rock You theatre break will follow the story of a bunch of Bohemian Rebels who are determined to break away from the happy Ga Ga world that the rest of Planet Mall live in. It is a world where Computers generate music, all musical instruments are banned and an age of boy and girl groups whose hits are scheduled years in advance. Everyone thinks the same thoughts and wears the same fashions but underneath the city resistance is growing. The Bohemians believe in a Golden Age where the kids would form bands and write music and legend has it that somewhere on Planet Mall instruments still exist. Somewhere, a mighty axe of a guitar god lies buried deep within the rock, the Rebels need to draw this from the stone and look to Galileo for help. As a wanted man by the Ga Ga cops will Galileo be able to help.
In 2002 the We Will Rock You Musical came to the Dominion Theatre and was due to close in 2006 to embark on a UK tour. However due to high demand the show was extended indefinitely and has become the longest running musical ever to play at the Dominion Theatre. With the dazzling show now in it’s 10th anniversary year, there’s never been a better time to enjoy a We Will Rock You theatre break.
