out of 5Went to Harlow to Danesfield Hotel and Spa. Absolutely wonderful. (Although would have been nice to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room).Couldn't afford to eat there, just a taster of various foods was £65. Bottle of Pinot £28 and requirement to wear jacket and tie to the restaurant.Got a taxi, £10 to the Marlowe Donkey, where we had a lovely meal at normal 'pub' prices, with good service.Danesfield hotel is lovely, with beautiful walks and views. Great treatments. Superbreak did a special deal, with a massage or facial in the price. Very good value for money.

out of 5Room booked at the Complete Angler, Marlow was not available. undergoing re-furb!Moved to Danesfield Hotel but had to take evening meals at Complete Angler - 2 miles away.Letter of complaint on its way.

Editor's comments: We do request that all the hotels we work with inform us of any changes/refurbishment programmes they may be undertaking. Unfortunately on this occasion we were not made aware of this, but the hotel had made alternative arrangements for guests.
