out of 5We were a couple of old men (aged 90 and 84) looking for a rest after the winter and also looking to eat and drink well. We had every meal in a different restaurant and we were never disappointed. Fortunately, not wanting to be too active, the rainy weather did not affect us adversely. The olympia hotel was ideal for our needs and the staff were delightful and most helpful.

out of 5Wonderful hotel, staff great, would definitely stay there again. Brugge and Blankenberge are beautiful places and Belgium has a superb railway service.

out of 5Found this hotel clean and comfortable but no way could it be classed as central Bruges, we needed to either catch the bus(just outside the hotel and every fifteen minutes costing 1.6 euros each or catch a taxi approx 7 euros) otherwise a very pleasant stay.

out of 5Ferry looked as though it had been decorated in the 70's and not touched since, but it was good fun. We were the youngest onboard though! (23-24yrs). Meal onboard (buffet) was very disappointing and definately not worth the money. However, staff were friendly and helpful, and a good time was had by all!Hotel Olympia - great location, a short walk into the centre of town. We arrived on a Monday - would have been good to have been told that everything in Bruges is shut on a Monday!! If travelling back on the same night, strongly recommend not spending a Monday in Bruges - little to do/see. Tuesday much better - plenty of museums, shops and cafes to visit. Horse and Cart trips are apprently a rip off so avoid them! Plenty of places to eat - slightly harder for vegetarians to get variety. Overall a good trip, with minor flaws. Very good value for money. Would do trip again to another location.
