out of 5We have been to Glasgow before with Superbreak and this time we stayed at the marks hotel in bath street. It is a busy hotel but the staff are very friendly and helpful and our room was very clean, warm and comfortable. It was nice that the hot water was always hot! Our room was at the back of the hotel (we requested a quiet room) and we had a view over part of the city which was fine. The breakfast was good except that it was a buffet and was pretty much the same choice every morning.(we prefer breakfasts which are cooked to order). The location of the hotel was perfect. Close to all the shops and also to both railway stations. We used the underground to get to kelvinhall and we could not believe how very easy it was to use and the cost was just £1.20 per journey. We enjoyed our stay in glasgow and will definitely be back ! the kelvinhall museum of art, the tenament house, the cathedral and necropolis, willow tearooms, Glasgow school of art.

out of 5Hotel staff were excellent special mention to Lindsay on desk. Enjoyed hotel so much we have booked for a weekend in October as we are attending a wedding in Glasgow with our 3 sons. She took time to show us the family rooms and then continued getting our booking sorted for then many thanks Lindsay. Hotel room was nice and clean and the breakfast was good. Have stayed in Glasgow on many occasions and other big name hotels could take notice. Overall a good choice as it is right in the centre and cheap car parking available next block.
