out of 5I emailed ahead to the hotel to inform them my mother couldn't walk long distances and that i was treating her for mothers day and what would have been her wedding anniversary. They put us in a fantastic ground floor room with doors opening out onto the golf course with a brilliant view. Mum didn't have far to walk to the room and the food was lovely and they even catered for my special diet at breakfast time!.

out of 5Have visited Bosworth Hall a number of times but was quite disappointed with this visit. Evening meal in comptons was excellent as was the service. Breakfast and evening meal in jenny's carvery was poor. Hotel is now looking a bit shabby and could do with a bit of a refurb. Service overall was as good as ever. May be a while before I return.

out of 5Hotel nice atmosphere, cosy particularly the bar area which had a very welcoming log fire. Our room was in the courtyard and whilst spacious needed some updating. Didn't mind the distressed furniture (that added character) but carpet was very dirty and needed replacing and lamp shades broken. Loo seat also loose and radiator in bathroom didn't work. Again needs updating. Staff very pleasant although receptionist was a bit officious on arrival which was slightly off putting. Breakfast was excellent, freshly cooked and served piping hot. Restaurant rutland chinese next door to hotel is highly recommended. Excellent food and really friendly people. Enjoyed rutland water and the small town of oakham. Sight seeing slightly hampered on our visit as heavy snowfall!.

out of 5Good facilities, but poor signage to extra parking spaces. It took 15 minutes to park. The place was overcrowded and there was a two hour wait for dinner. We didn't get dinner until 9.30pm
