out of 5Hotel was quite adequate but could do with a good spring clean. Having a pool was excellent even if it is old and small, it was good to be able to relax and unwind. The choice at breakfast was good for a 3* hotel and the hot food freshly cooked.

out of 5We stayed a mile from the centre, was a lovely walk in, york centre was very clean. We would liked to have seen all york minster but found that it cost £16 altogether including the tower. We really enjoyed walking the wall and seeing all the sites on the way round. We had a nice meal in the loydes or yates bar near the bridge in the centre 2 courses bottle of echo fall wine and a pitcher of vodka and redbull all for under £30 had brill night. Will be going back soon. Oh and no parking to pay. Brill.

out of 5My boyfriend and I travelled down to York recently and stayed at the Knavesmire. Fantastic accomodation, fantastic food and fantastic staff and atmosphere. I would highly recommend it. York is a beautiful city, with so much history to fit into two days. I wish we could have stayed longer.

out of 5A friendly character hotel with some chalet rooms at the rear. The chalet we stayed in was compact, but as it was at the rear of the building it was very quiet.
