out of 5Spent Saturday in Abingdon which was a very disappointing town but found a great pub where we watched wales win the grand slam!!! what more could you ask for!.

out of 5This was a last minute get away which exceeded every expectation. The hotel was amazing - the reception staff on arrival were friendly and welcoming, the room was clean and fresh, the hotel surroundings were stunning,the spa facilites were excellent and the food food was the superb. Can't say enough about how wonderful this minibreak was. Well worth the money - an exceptional deal that will certainly be hard to live upto. Oxford absolutely amazing. We used the park and ride service and found it the easiest way to get in to the centre and very reasonabley priced. The tour bus was by far the best way to get the most out of the day - we completed the whole trip and then got on and off as we wanted. An absolutely fantastic weekend - cant wait to come back .

out of 5This trip was a present to celebrate my 50th birthday. We relaxed but were made very welcome and the staff were the politest we have both experienced in a long while. The receptionist on Saturday morning even took the trouble to give us a print out of the car parks in Reading to go shopping. The food was of the highest standard and beautifully prepared. We watched the internationals on Saturday in the bar and the barman even brought drinks to us which was greatly appreciated.

out of 5The entrance and corridors to these rooms were very very poor and had pungent smell and greatly in need of refurbishment. We upgraded to room in main house which was of a good standard.
