out of 5Hotel was clean and tidy, but not much entertainment if you are not into sauna's or gym. Grounds neat and tidy excepth the weather stopped us from completing the walk.

out of 5In spite of poor weather, we had a great and relaxing time at the hotel. We visited stratford's butterfly farm which was excellent. The hotel's swimming pool/sauna/steam room were great. The gym looked good, but we didn't feel too energetic, wanting a totally relaxing time. We felt the food at the hotel was particularly expensive, but very nice. The grounds where the hotel is is lovely, if it was dry, we would have had a walk there. This we would do if we ever visited the hotel again.

out of 5Broken window in our bedroom, the heating didnt work properly, not informed a wedding was taking place that weekend and constantly walking through the dining area shouting at each other whilst we were trying to enjoy our meal, we ordered a bottle of wine with our evening meal, this was just plonked on our table without any wine glasses or the bottle being opened for us. Overall customer service was very poor except for the reception staff.

out of 5My best friend and I booked a spa weekend at the mercure hotel: brandon hall. We were not really expecting much. What was most important for us was cleanliness and quiet stay. We were impressed as we pulled in to the hotel as the grounds looked bigger than what was in the picture. Our room was even better and i had a good night's sleep. What was the best thing was the hotel staff did not make any fuss over my friend's dietary needs. They were very accommodating and even suggested alternatives. We both thought it was beyond what we expected of their service level.
