out of 5Arrived at hotel to find no lift available. No real problem as allocated room on second floor and given bottle of free house wine as compensation. When we found our room it was extremely small with one side of the bed against a wall and a small gap the other side. After further inspection we noticed there was only one bath and hand towel and one cup and saucer and glass. We then realised that we had been given a single room although we had booked and paid for a double! after making complaint to the staff we were given a large double.

out of 5The Radisson Sussex is ideally situation for Hyde Park concerts. The reception staff were first class and they apologised for the small room we were given the first night of our stay (giving us a complimentary bottle of wine) but more than made up for it by allocating us an executive room the following night. Both rooms were very quiet, as requested and we were content with the high standards of comfort and cleanliness throughout. Our short visits to London are always hectic as there are so many things we want to do and see. Where else in the world can you experience the grandeur of a Royal palace, learn a brief history of British government, enjoy the music of abba (sung by Kylie Minogue and others) and experience the spectacle of "proms in the park" with Barry Manilow and Katherine Jenkins.... All in 48hrs - Fantastic.
