out of 5Hotel was great position next to russell sq tube station. All staff were amazing and obliging with a fabulous breakfast each morning. It was very busy & thought would be noisy at night times but not at all. Tube travel very expensive & often found it cheaper to get a taxi with there being 2 of us. Got rail tickets included and was a shame that we had to leave before 1.30 on the sunday - didnt leave much to do on the sunday morning. But overall would definitely book with Superbreak again and the same hotel.

out of 5From booking to completing our trip the service and facilities were excellent. Staying at the holiday inn was a good choice for location with close by tube station and a few minutes walk from euston mainline station. The hotel was clean comfortable and all the staff were polite and helpful without exception.

out of 5Good break in London - caught the excellent weather in march which was an added bonus. Took the 2 night including dinner option at the holiday inn bloomsbury. Went for the early pre-thetre dinner (5.30pm.) which was a pleasant surprise. Good food, well presented with excellent service. Hotel could not be in a better location. Close to station, (bonus when you want to leave your case) central but away from the mainstream traffic so it was relatively quite. The small shopping centre near the hotel door was useful for the things you forgot to bring. Rooms relatively small but well represented and clean. All you need for a short stay. Took a trip down the thames for a bateaux london lunch cruise. Took the basic package - no choice of menu but what great food and service. There are two boats we got the newer naticia (large glass area). Didn't see the inside of the other boat (symphony) from the outside it looked "tired" and wasn't as impressive. I would have been disappointed if i had got it. Be warned though any extra drinks purchased are expensive. The portrait galley restaurant is a must for cocktails with it's panoramic view of trafalgar square and the london horizon.

out of 5Fab break, fab weather too. Hotel location, facilities, room and staff were all brilliant.The evening meal included in the deal was superb. Overall an extremely enjoyable break which we have done previously and will most certainly do again - and at this hotel!!!.

out of 5We stayed at the holiday inn bloomsbury because of it's great location. Russell square tube station is only 100 metres away. If you can't be bothered with the tube, convent garden and the west end theatres are 20 minutes walk. Also it's only 20 minutes walk to kings cross station in the opposite direction. The hotel staff on reception were very polite and helpful. Our package included dinner on the first night, but the hotel changed this to the second night to fit in with our needs. The room was clean and comfortable, although it looked a bit tired needing redecorating. Breakfast was okay. The selection was a bit dissapointing, but all the basics were there.
