out of 5Bedding and towels were clean but the hotel overall was tired and dated. We booked a non smoking room and were given one that smelt of stale smoke, fortunately as there was another available we were able to move, lift out of order throughout our stay.

out of 5We visited just after the riots in Birmingham and felt a little nervous. The staff were helpful with thier advice on staying close to the hotel the first night. There were road works just outside the hotel which went on through the night, and this did effect our sleep. Staff were very appologetic, but it was completely out of thier hands. That says it all for Birmingham city council that they don't take consideration of the tourist trade when doing these jobs, which we saw no reason why they werent done in the day. All in all we enjoyed and would go back to this comfort inn on our next trip.

out of 5Thought this was an excellent concert. Having seen katie at the o2 I felt that the more intimate surroundings of the symphony hall were more suited to her and her 4 piece band. The set covered her main hits and the key songs from her newest album. I look forward to her coming here again. Favourite moment: loved god on drums, devil on the bass. Brilliant song and great visual display. Opening act(s): jonathan jeremiah. Ok. Had an outstanding violinist.
