out of 5We chose the hotel for its proximity to St.Pancras station (as that is we arrived) and because the ad said that there was an airport shuttle. There is no shuttle. To get to heathrow we discovered that a taxi was the cheapest method as the trainfare is 19 pounds per person and the taxi to paddington is another 19 pounds. And obviously the taxi is much more convenient when you have heavy suitcases! the hotel was clean and comfortable and the helpfulness of the staff depended on who was working. The young man who was at the reception desk was less than helpful but others were more so. The breakfast consisted of cereal, toast, yogurt, coffee or tea, and fruit served in a small room. An advantage as you have the opportunity to meet fellow guests. For the price and location the hotel was adequate.

out of 5The arriva hotel does not serve breakfast until 07-30 which is too late for catching the early euro star trains to the continent . We were told taxi's would not come in rush hour so any old or disabled people would be unable to get to the station in time to catch any train leaving.

out of 5The hotel seemed down at heel. The basement room we were in was small and looked out on to an area with discarded beds! duvet cover was stained, stains also round shower. Breakfast was of poor quality but staff were pleasant. A positive note, was that the hotel was quiet and conveniently placed.
