An action packed day in London

Travelled down by train very relaxing, tube to Liverpool St and hotel on the door step. The hotel was very impressive staff very good and the room was fantastic, very luxurious, juices and water in the mini fridge, toiletries lovely, ipod player, flat screen tv fab queen bed, pillows lovely. Dressing gowns, slippers. Couldnt fault anything. Tea coffee and wine available in reception. It was great having the tube staion literally next door. We were there the weekend of the olympic concert and travelled to St James park, walked up the mall to the palace, it was a beautiful day and we sat on the grass watching the concert. We were booked for a concert in the evening which was fantastic. Back to hotel and had an early flight home from stanstead. We had room service for breakfast as we had to leave at 6 am, this was on time and lovely. All in all a great hotel, and a great weekend. Would definately recommend to anyone. The only thing I would say is the bar was not open as it is in the financial district and obviously there is not much going on on a sunday so they must close.
