out of 5Lots of walking at NEC so would be nice to have something to ride on to rest the sore feet, back to hotel, knowing we had same amount of footslogging at NEC next day. We looked forward to copy of Daily Telegraph for Friday am was erroneously delivered as the Independent! Phoned reception - too busy to put the error right - could we go down - what, in the one bath robe in our room. Glass of red wine in the bar after dinner was way too warm and vinegary. Bar agreed, apologised and replaced with suitable. No hairdryer in room. Any other hotels we visit seem to have these as standard. For hotel dinner on the Thursday evening, no skinny chips available from the menu. The white wine was not sufficiently chilled, practically room temperature. Different staff kept returning to our table to ask odd questions, like had we had our starters, had we ordered, had we seen the wine list - when we had and the wine was there! Good visit overall though - reception staff very helpful and efficient at check in an out.

out of 5We booked this overnight stay to coincide with attending the Moody Blues Concert. The hotel and facilities were excellent and right on the doorstep of the NEC. Would definitely recommend this hotel to others and would definitely stay here again.

out of 5As me and my partner live 230 miles away a halfway meet at the NEC Seemed a good idea the Crowne Plaza is a lovely 4 star hotel to go to if you wish to see a concert it is 5 min walk we went to see Diana Ross and it was ideal, all rooms have a mini bar but the prices were expensive, you can also keep a check on your hotel bill on your tv set which is handy.The bar snacks are superb and good value for money the restaurant downstairs is expensive with a limited menu.On our trip to Stratford upon Avon we found parking difficult so we did the park and ride this was excellent the buses run every 10min and run to time Stratford itself is a lovely place to visit and to finish it off a romantic weekend there is one street with some lovely restaurants we went to a Cafe Rouge which is very Parisienne excellent food ,service and value for money if you like french food go there
