out of 5After I had booked my hotel through Superbreak, I read some reviews online, and found them not too friendly. It was then I began to worry. What if the hotel was filthy, what if the breakfast was rubbish, what if the staff were horrid, what if I couldn't wait to leave? I needed have had such worries though, we found the hotel very clean and tidy. Staff were fairly friendly - though not overly, which is not always a bad thing. Breakfast was excellent too, although I would advise you NOT to try the porridge! You can chose what you want on the morning so whatever you fancy on the menu you can opt for, no pre ordering the night before. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the train station and pier and shops.Was there any draw backs? In a word no! Overall we were very impressed with everything about our stay, and were lucky enough to have nice weather for our trip to Beachy head. I'd recommend a stay in this hotel without qualm! And I loved the unique lift, which became my new toy.

out of 5A friend visiting us wanted to see Brighton. We could not book a hotel in Brightion so chose Eastbourne instead, and were glad that we did. The hotel was fine, but being on the sea front, was noisy and we did not sleep well. When we finally got to Brighton we felt that any hotel on the front there would have been even noisier.
