out of 5Sole purpose of this stay was simply to get some R n' R as I live and work very close to this hotel. The facilities and the staff are excellent, and the rates provided by superbreak, are very competitive in the market, so I really felt like i was getting a bargain.The drinks in both the public and private bars are reasonably priced, and although I didnt sample the food on this occation, previous visits have convinced me that the food is of exceptional quality.

out of 5On arrival the staff were very pleasant and helpful, as were those in the health club. The bedroom was well equipped, as was the bathroom, but the temperature of the room was excessive and we were not able to alter it. A fan was thoughtfully provided but this was of little help. The main criticism was with regard to breakfast and the gentleman who greeted us for breakfast who we found to be incredibly rude and unhelpful. We mentioned his unacceptable manner to the receptionist on duty and were simply told that this level of sarcasm and rudeness was his usual way. It was simply laughed off. We were not offered an apology and were very dissapointed at the approach taken. This spolit an otherwise pleasant stay. We will not be returning.
