out of 5A very enjoyable few days in Kent. Visited Chartwell home of sir Winston Churchill on our way to the hotel, a most interesting visit. Visited Canterbury cathedral and surrounding areas, sandwich & the golf club also St Margarets bay (a superb little spot) a full day to London by train from Maidstone, visited Westminster cathedral & the Royal mews. Interesting day around the Kent countryside just looking at the many interesting villages. A good hotel we would certainly use again.

out of 5My wife and I chose The Marriott Tudor Park as a base to tour Kent, taking in Leeds Castle and Port Lympne Safari Park. It was an excellent choice of hotel. On arrival we could tell that the owners were investing a lot of money on refurbishing the property. It has a brand new lobby and bar area, a fabulous leisure centre and very well appointed rooms. It is set in over 200 acres of rolling parkland and boasts a wonderful 18 hole golf course. The restaurant was still under development but this caused minimal disruption, and our lunch and breakfasts were delicious. My wife being American was totally charmed by Leeds castle. I was unable to answer the question about why it is not in Leeds! Port Lympne Safari Park is a real treat. We took the jeep tour and saw many wild animals including Silver Back Gorillas and Black Rhino. Our visit to Kent and Tudor Park was a resounding success. I would recommend this hotel to all golfers and anyone seeking an excellent touring base.
