Located only 8 miles from Central Birmingham, Sutton Coldfield has one of the largest urban parks in Europe. Shopping at the Sutton Coldfield Mall or a round or two at the nearby Belfry golf course where the Ryder Cup has been held previously will keep visitors amused.

out of 5Hotel easy to find with plenty of free parking, swimming pool area ideal. The hotel is next to a park which has pleasant walks. Both days out were good but they both like to charge for extra activities once inside the gate. Hotel room could have been cleaner, although there were three staying in the room only tea/coffee facilities for two provided initially. Hotel restaurant food was good with a decent childrens menu, but ?4.50 for a small bottle of magners cider seemed excessive. Nearby local pubs are only a short stroll away and offer a cheaper option.

out of 5Superb views over the golf course, on the ground floor. Great choice of freshly prepared meals and breakfast, including vegetarian. Free entrance into night club. Supervisor checked that patio door was locked at night...The patio door led out to the beautiful grounds. Free internet access in rooms - using your own computer. Food available 24 hours. Quick check in and check out. Staff attentive.
