out of 5The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful.The breakfast was very good. Hotel room clean and plenty of room. We had a very good evening meal with a show. Will be going back again.

out of 5Excellent value, breakfast absolutely first class, room excellent, we used a triple and there was plenty of room for 3. Hotel is located about a mile outside Skipton by the canal. We walked along the canal into Skipton to avoid parking problems, it was lovely, and refreshing to walk after a long drive. Only downside, the hotel needs updating, looks very 70s. Overall brilliant value.

A Day On A Barge

out of 5On seeing that our hotel sat on the Leeds Liverpool canal we decided to Hire a barge for the day from pennine cruisers. It was a fantastic experience if tiring. Although there are no locks on this part of the canal there are still many bridges that need to be opened and moved in order for the barge to pass along. This was fairly hard work and might be difficult for anyone of a frail disposition. Beautiful journey though and well worth the effort. Plenty opportunities to stop along the way and either picnic or enjoy a pub meal.
