out of 5We choose the dalmahoy for a luxury overnight stay for my husband's birthday. The 4 of us (2 adults, 2 kids) thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The pool was a good size and lovely and warm, and changing rooms clean and specious. Nice family room with 2 dbl beds and fridge (not just mini-bar). A great extra was the ice bucket and nearby ice machine which came in very handy. Breakfast was fab - kids particularly enjoyed the waffle station! The grounds of the hotel are beautiful - just wish we could have stayed longer. Have recommended to family & friends.

out of 5Fantastic hotel in lovely surroundings only a few miles from Edinburgh city centre. Family room was great value and the leisure facilities were excellent. But the best thing about Dalmahoy is the breakfast-everything you could wish for is here, from the full scottish option (including haggis)to waffles with maple syrup and fresh fruit. We also ate at the carvery of the Ratho Park Hotel which is across the road from the entrance to the drive of Dalmahoy. Not exactly on a par with Dalmahoy but for £3.50 per person (yes, £3.50!) for all you can eat carvery it was delicious.
