out of 5The dolby hotel was an excellent location for our city break being very close to the albert dock (5 minute walk) and all its attractions most of which we visited. The beatles story and titanic exhibition were excellent and we can thoroughly recommended them. The catholic cathedral "paddy's wigwam" and the anglican cathedral are worth a visit. We also took the ferry across the mersey with commentary on the Liverpool docks which was very interesting. The city is a mere one mile square but in two days we managed to walk twenty! the whole experience provided a most enjoyable break.

out of 5Forget the star rating - this hotel is way better than 2 star. The rooms are small clean and adequate for short stays - everything else is first class. Friendly and very helpful staff - good lounge - free wi-fi - free parking only a short walk (10 mins) from liverpool shopping centre and a good restaurant overlooking the dock area. Food and drink prices were very reasonable. After a day shopping in liverpool we were content to return to the hotel have a drink in the bar and then settle down to a good meal with a bottle of wine. We'll certainly be using this hotel on our next visit.

out of 5The hotel was better than expected, nice room, staff helpful and pleasent and food was of a high standard. Trips out to outlet stores at cheshire oaks good shops and reasonable prices. Then on to port sunlight, the village is so well kept and there is a magnificent art gallery which is free entry.
