out of 5Jury's inn ideally placed between station and royal mile. Thoroughly enjoyed royal yacht visit and museum interspersed by ale tour in pubs along royal mile and beyond (leaflet in the mitre)! nice coffee and welcome in elephant coffee shop where j k rowling wrote her harry potter books. Beautiful train journey using senior rail card and lots of variety in Edinburgh with the most friendly and hospitable people.

out of 5We walked everywhere - our hotel was so central and so close to the waverley station. Edinburgh is a safe and intriguing city to walk around with alleyways, bridges over bridges and beautiful georgian streets. We also took a local train to queensferry south, so we could say we had been on the forth bridge railway.

out of 5A good city for food & drink. Attractions first class.Jurys hotel excellent location with friendly staff. Waverley rail station a mess at the minute due to modernisation as is parts of princes st. Bus services excellent.

out of 5Visited many pubs but particularly enjoyed the nicholson pubs I visited, the decor and atmosphere. The jurys inn was ideally situated from the royal mile and very close to the train station.
