Good Value Family Break.

4 out of 5

Hollins hall hotel was a good standard and good value for money with breakfast included. Staff on reception were very friendly and helpful but let down by unkempt appearances i.e. Unironed / stained uniforms, visible underwear and messy hair. Rooms were immaculately clean with nice decor, comfortable beds and plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 small children. We ate in the zest cafe bar on our first night. Service was a little bit unethusiatic although adults foods was good. Childrens menu was average. Breakfast in heathcliffs restaurant was great. Brilliant, professional and well turned out staff with a good range of food available and well prepared (except anaemic bacon). Spent the majority of the saturday at eureka childrens museum which was great fun but very busy. We left so we could enjoy a swim in the hotels pool (one of the main reasons for booking hollins hall) but were really disappointed as it was so cold we only wanted to stay in it for 20 mins with small children. We enjoyed a fantastic meal at the fox pub in guiseley - a very short drive away. Food was of a very high standard. Service and decor were great and would definately recommend to anyone.

The purpose of our visit was for a small birthday present for my fiance and to visit the various tv soap locations. These we thoroughly enjoyed and would like to visit the area again and would certainly stay at this hotel.

We have been going to Hollins Hall for years and keep going back because the staff, food and atmosphere are all excellent. We particularly enjoy the relaxation of the site and the health club. We also find the staff friendly warm and welcoming we would reccommend this hotel to anyone especially people who are visiting the local area.
