Lovely hotel in a very good central location. Although parking was limited and on a first come first serve basis we were given a disc to use for street parking and that worked well for us. We did find parking at the hotel on our last night. Our room was spacious and well furnished and decorated. Our only slight complaint was that room was too hot at night even with the window open although the radiator was off. The heat came from the pipes running through the room so I don't suppose there was anything that could be done about that as the hotel did have to be heated. The ensuite was clean and spacious with a good shower. We had a breakfast and dinner package for the whole weekend and the food was excellent with the dinner menu changing every day. A good choice of food for the breakfast buffet. The staff were extremely friendly, pleasant and helpful. I would recommend this hotel.

Beautiful place, hotel was flawless, very clean, spacious and central to the local bars and high street. Would definitely come back! /Made all the better by the snow! Staff at the hotel were polite and friendly and appeared to always be available to help out.

The Crown is an old established hotel in a central location, very good bedroom with modern facilities. Lots of space in well appointed public rooms and restaurant. Ideally situated for visits to the international conference centre a few minutes walk away which was the main purpose of the visit.

Pleasently surprised to find Harrogate such a nice place to visit; lovely open parks and spaces - well preserved spa town in tune with the requirements of tourist; clean,good choice of restuarants,shops and little streets to explore and find that special place to remember. Our hotel 'the crown' topped it all up for a very relaxing time "and the breakfast" beats many 5* that we have been too. Take a break visit Yorkshire - York and Harrogate.
