Short Break In Dublin

Overall Hotel Rating:

4 out of 5

Burlington hotel is about 15 mins walk from the city centre, the upshot being that you can walk through the beautiful park, st. Stephen's green, on your way. Temple bar pubs are lots of fun, especially gogarty's for live traditional irish music. The museum of archaeology is brilliant - well worth spending a few hours in. Also a must for any history lovers is a visit to newgrange burial chamber. This is approx 1 hour drive from the city but luckily a bus tour runs from the burlington hotel which you can book with the concierge. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were wonderful. The rooms on the upper floors have not been upgraded and the beds are very hard. When you book ensure that you request a room on the second floor as these rooms have been renovated to a high standard and the beds are very comfy.

Have stayed here many times always super. This time booked through Superbreak looked like a good offer. Room very poor dated and grubby . Very unusal for this hotel. Also used hotel car park directed to position by thier staff when leaving my car had been jacked up and moved to erect a marquee .Car wheel and bumper damaged still trying to get it sorted . Very dissapointed overall in what was always my favourite dublin hotel.

Hotel was fantastic, coach was at the airport when we arrived which dropped us off outside the hotel, rooms were brilliant and the breakfast was lovely. It was about a 20 minute walk to St Stephens green and Graffton Street. Really enjoyed my trip and would definatley recommend the hotel and Dublin for a few days away.
