Overall Hotel Rating:
out of 5I stayed for 2 nights, a Friday and Saturday. I was lucky that I was able to get a lift by car to a local restaurant, becaust the Hotel restaurant was completely taken over by a wedding, rendering the Hotel restaurant unavailable to residents for Saturday evenings meal. Also, when I asked on that Saturday evening whether the cost of the taxi I would need the next morning could be added to my bill (because I had little sterling cash left) I was told no. I had to walk a 3 mile round trip on an unlit road without pavement (a dirt track..)to a nearby Tesco to obtain cash. I doubt if taking the pains to write this will matter anyway, I just won't stay there again. There are plenty of places in Bedford.
