out of 5Bought a Barcelona Card prior to arrival. Used this on the train to and from the Airport and Central Barcelona, also on the Underground. Excellent value.Hotel a short walk from Central Station. 10 minutes walk from nearest metro. Excellent facilities. All you could want for breakfast.Managed to cram in loads of sightseeing. Loads to see and do. Weather quite hot. Easy to find our way around. Brilliant break. Could recommend.

out of 5My top tip for Barcelona is to get the tour bus- tickets plus discount vouchers available in the hotel. The open top bus is the ideal way to see the great city, with the added benefit of a tour guide plus you can get off and on as many times as you likeVist Las Ramblas and stop to sample the tapas menus, then turn off into the Gothic quarter and enjoy the street musicials as their sound reveberates around the cobbled alleyways.Take in as much as you can of the great architect Gaudi's architecture its a cross between Lord of the Rings and Thunderdrome. Once you have tasted Barcelona you will want to return!

out of 5Very cosmopolitan wonderful atmosphere not threating at all for two middle ages women, great shops, especially in the Barri Gotic. City Bus very good value you could hop on and off when you wanted to, gave a good overview of Barcelona. I shared my holiday with a very dear friend for my 60th birthday without the man.
