out of 5Wonderful experience, suanas, hot pools, Whirlpool, (outside as well as in) massages etc, Gellart Baths is posher than Sechanyi, but both were great.

out of 5We went to Budapest to celebrate my 50thbirthday.What a lovely place for a short break, friendly people and not too expensive.The k + k opera is a really nice hotel and only a ten minute walk to the river and vai utca the main tourist street in Budapest.This hotel is right next to a superb restaurant called Callas and also adjacent to the Opera House which we visited to enjoy the Hungarian Ballet absolutely fantastic night.To sum it up i would definitely stay in Budapest again and would recommend the K + K OPERA HOTEL.

out of 5Budapest is a scenic city with good views and panoramas. It has many attractive old buildings which have, unfotunately suffered from neglect in the past and restoration is taking time.The public transport is relatively expensive and not too well coordinated. For an ex soviet bloc country prices were expensive compared to others eg Estonia.

out of 5fantastic celabrations, with live music on the market square, fireworks,with warm and friendly people who speak very good english. every bar has helpful and friendly staff who go out of their way to make it so special.
