out of 5Our hotel was located just 10 mins walk from victoria station so we could drop our bags at the hotel even though it was too early to check in, which was great. We headed off to westfield shopping centre and gazed in awe at some of the upmarket shops and then moved along to the more pocket friendly ones. Lunch was at jamie's italian and, as always, was gorgeous.That evening we saw billy elliot which didn't disappoint and i would recommend it to anyone, absolutely amazing. The following day we had booked a trip to see the butterfly display at the natural history museum, which was stunning, the butterflies land on you so you can get a really close look at them. We brought our trip to a close by wandering around harrods before bringing ourselves back to reality and remembering we had a train to catch home and not a chauffer driven limo.

out of 5It is under refurb and was very poor indeed, down in the cella for breakfast there was no one to help we were not very happy at all.

out of 5The main reason for our short break in London was to see the musical "wicked" and it made sense to stay overnight. The hotel did exactly what we needed: it was quiet, clean and efficient without frills. There is a huge variety of excellent places to eat within a few minutes walk of the hotel; so many that we were spoilt for choice. It was a great 24 hours away.
