out of 5We went to London for a short break. We really enjoyed our two days the zoo was good but I think I would have been better if it wasn't raining but you can't have it all! The hotel was lovely staff were friendly and helpful. The room was a nice size but if we had the window open we could hear all the traffic outside it was a busy road. How ever if the window was closed we couldn't hear anything so that was good. It was a lovely weekend! and we would stay at the mercure hotel again.

out of 5Looked aronnd shops, went on the duck tour around London and then on to the thames brilliant tour guide v good. Hotel lovely we even had a balcony to sit out upon no complaints at all. I had booked a meal and show for my husbands 65th, meal was enough for a mouse, at ketners in soho nice inside not value for money. Musical brilliant.

out of 5We visited tthe Imperial War museum, royal chelsea hospital, army mueseum. Saw show chicago, had a meal in Covent Garden Grill, walked along Thames south side to Southwark cathedral and Borough Market, walked over millenium bridge to St. Pauls. Had meal in pizza express southwark. On arrival in London had a snack in St. Martins in field crypt, all very good. An excellent weekend.

out of 5The Mercure South Bank is a a very good value hotel, excellent staff and service and although small the rooms are comfortable and well appointed. Walking distance to tube stations and the Thames.
