By Rail

Liverpool Lime Street train station is ideally placed to start exploring Liverpool. Set at the heart of the city the station offers easy access to Liverpool and is well linked with direct connections to Manchester and access to London in 2 hours.

By Road

Situated in the North West of England Liverpool is within easy reach of major motorways including the M62, and M6. The city can be reached from London in 4 hours and is just 2 hours from many areas including Birmingham, Leeds and the Lake District.

By Air

If you are travelling by air Liverpool John Lennon Airport is only seven miles from the city centre. Liverpool Airport connects Liverpool to 750 worldwide destinations via KML airlines.

Getting Around in Liverpool

With a compact city centre Liverpool is easy to navigate, plus with regular ferry crossings, superb train network and plenty of buses it’s easy to get around this fabulous city.

By Bus

Liverpool bus network is managed by Merseytravel. With two main city centre bus terminals and travel centres at Liverpool ONE and Queen Square it’s easy to get out and about in the city.

By Taxi

There are plenty of taxis throughout Liverpool to get you where you want to go. With 400 taxis Mersey Cabs are one of Liverpool largest taxi companies. Davy Liver Taxis also has 200 vehicles so there are plenty of cars to get you around the city.

By Rail

Merseyrail offers a great service for getting around the Liverpool area. With stations throughout Merseyside including 4 city centre underground stations it’s the ideal way to travel through the city and beyond.
