out of 5A very interesting city, plenty to see and do, markets, shops, bars, restaurants, parks and most of all unique architecture. The Gaudi exhibition at Casa Mila was well worth seeing. The only downside was too many tourists!!

out of 5The metro is excellent for getting round and the 10 journey ticket is good value if you will be staying a while. Journey to/from the airport is a bit strange at the moment as trains are only going part way then you have to change to another platform at El Prat de Llobregat, an alternative is bus to/form Estació de Sants which seems to be running every 20 minutes at the moment Coffee is great everywhere, very strong italian style. You pay more to sit outside, a bit less to sit inside and cheapest is at the bar.
