out of 5Took a while to find someone to check us in. Our booking was for b&b for one night but they had us down for db&b for 2 nights. Soon sorted. Rather noisy plumbing, but soon sorted.

out of 5The setting and hotel facilities, including pool, were good; the public rooms were tired and needed decorating, but welcome nonetheless and the dining room facilities were excellent. I had booked 3 rooms all at the same rate; 1 in the new block was very good, 1 was ok but in need of an update, but the 3rd, no 17 in the attic was stuffy and smelly, having only a dirty skylight with a dilapidated blind and no easy means of reaching either, and in need of a deep clean; the beds however were comfortable and the sheets were clean; the full rate was not justified for this room. The meals were very good but the service was incredibly slow.

out of 5From someone who stays away alot i would have to say the room i was given was not good... generally poor infact.The hotel staff were nice and polite and helped where possible.For £110 i would not go back....there are hotels 100% better out there for that sort of money.

out of 5We stayed at Risley Hall in one of the suites. The views out of the window were spectacular. The staff were polite and friendly and Richard in the restaurant gave exceptional service as we were celebrating the renewal of our vows after 32 years of marriage.
