out of 5The Plaka hotel has perhaps the best position for a tourist in Athens. Plenty to do and see within short walking distances.. even the Acropolis(although uphill). Its worth going up Mt Lycabattus but its a job to find the funicular if on foot. The sightseeing bus 400 is not very good for actual sightseeing but ok for hop-on/hop-off.Metro system very good and cheap.80cents for 90 minutes,but Euro7 to the airport, which is easy to get to.

out of 5We stayed at the {Plaka Hotel for 3 nights, the hotel was in a great location and provided us with all we needed. The staff were very helpful and directed us to everything we wanted.we didnt make it up for breakfast although they did serve till 10.30.
