out of 5We slept badly both nights due to the location of our room primarily which was overlooking a nightclub which was extremely noisy as was the traffic otherwise the hotel was excellent. Regrettably this would stop us returning to this hotel.

out of 5Hotel excellent for a central base, shame the price of drinks drive you out on an evening. Gusto (italian restaurant) just across the road was an excellent alternative with lots of atmosphere. Breakfast in the hotel excellent, staff very attentive. Would definitely recommend this hotel, worthy of its 4 star rating.

out of 5Great holiday, great city, excellent hotel. Would recommend the Macdonald Roxburghe Hotel. Lovely room on the top floor with views of the park. Huge queen sized bed and nice bathroom. Breakfast was superb. Drinks in the hotel bar are expensive though. Go around the corner to the wetherspoons for better value.
