Stayed at the Marriott Hotel in Kensington-lovely hotel-wonderfully comfotable beds and excellent breakfast. Took full advantage of the leisure facilities, gym, sauna, steam room and swimming pool were vitually empty so it was like having our own private health spa! Location was good (only 5mins walk to the tube) and a large 24 hr Sainsbury's opposite. Weather was lovely which was a bonus so we were able to walk for miles visiting various museums, parks etc on the way along with a few stops at the numerous pubs. Will definately be staying at this hotel again.

Hotel and Staff 1st class-couldn't do enough for you, they organised flowers and champagne to be in the room on arrival for my wife-she was was over the moon-well done to everyone. Also the Billy Elliott show we saw was fantastic-we briefly met the young lad who played Billy after the show which also a bonus-just to be able to congratulate him on such a fabulous performance. Will be back again soon.

Short Break in London

Overall Hotel Rating:

5 out of 5

When walking up to the Hotel myself and my partner spotted the Sunderland Football team walking out of the Hotel. This was a good sign that the Hotel was going to be good. The staff at this hotel were so helpful. Very friendly, very happy to help, always cheerful. The room was a really good size for a London Hotel and had all the modern amenities you would expect. The Hotel is in a fantastic location and only a 5 minute walk from the underground station and a short walk from High Street Kensington. All the public areas of the Hotel were really clean, modern and well looked after. The concierge gave us directions and were just as helpful as the reception staff. Overall we thought the Hotel was fantastic and would recommend The Kensington Marriott to anyone.

London Weekend Break

The Marriott Kensington was a good base being only a short walk the the nearest Underground Station. We used the Underground to get to the various places we visited and the one travel card proved to be excellent value. We also used the river boat service from Tate Britain to Tate Modern which made a pleasent change from travelling underground. London has so many great places to visit you can't help but enjoy yourself. We live only about 50 miles from London but it is still worth spending the weekend there with so much to see and do it's great not having any time constraints.
