out of 5The hotel was fantastic. We made full use of the hotel's swimming pool, sauna and steam room, which we could use even after signing out. We walked up nearby lingmoor fell and the langdale valley. We were able to park the car and not use it for 3 days.

out of 5Hearty, well prepared, seriously enormous breakfast, comfortable, well-appointed rooms, excellent pool and sauna, short walk (torch sensible but not essential) in either direction to pubs with good beer and pricey food. Geared to drivers - we seemed to be the only guests without a car! nb - extremely good value rating based on our short break deal.

out of 5Really enjoyed our four night break at the langdale hotel. Our room was spotless on arrival and the bed was very comfortable. Spa facilities wonderful too. If we had one criticism it would be that we were made to feel like an inconvenience by some of the waiting staff at breakfast. The food itself was fantastic though and a great way to fuel up for a day's walking!.
