out of 5Hotel room and en suite clean. Only one bath towel each. Flat screen tv with bbc1 & 2 and itv. No tea and coffee making facilities in room which we didn't expect but would be nice. Parked in underground car park eu 9 / 24 hours. Ate at the hotel first night as outside restaurants kitchen all appear to close at 9 pm!! Brugge itself was as expected as had been before - recommend tea room / pattiserie at no. 8 wijngaardstraat for a supurb coffee served with small cake and chocolate or beer with peanuts in lovely old tea room - include a pancake and expect to pay around eu 15. Belfry too expensive eu 8. Should have bought all in museum ticket at eu25 which enables entry into lots of attractions (pays for itself in 3 main attraction visits). We had a lovely few days as although cold, weather was good and sun was shining throughout - might be different if it had rained. Travelled by car using channel tunnel - all effortless.

out of 5We went on a minicruise to Bruges with p&o and stayed in ibis Bruges centrum one night. Hotel excellent for staff and room and facilities. Very helpful. Evening meal was fine, though service slow as many stayed in to eat due to bad weather. Not the cheapest option. However we would definitely stay there again when in Bruges. A good central position only 10 minutes walk from station. An excellent break. We enjoyed the christmas market, the brewery visit, the chocolate shops and the museums. Saw an excellent exhibition of flemish art in groeninge museum, and sheltered from the snow in the chursh of our lady finding more gems of art in the museum there.

out of 5The Ibis Bruges central is very good value for money, especially with the 3 nights for 2 including breakfast Superbreak offer. We were allocated a room at the front of the hotel, and found it quite noisy. However the hotel staff were only too happy to change our room to one at the back for the next two nights. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the restaurant/bar area very pleasant. The location of the hotel is perfect for visiting all the sights. There is also the convenience of an underground car park next to the hotel. The brewery tour was very entertaining and the admission price included a large beer at the end of the tour! The Malesherbes restaurant is small but the food fabulous and reasonably priced. The staff are very friendly and explain the menu in detail (closed Monday & Tuesday). The Petit Maxim (a new find) is a modern bistro type restaurant, and the pasta dish was magnificent. Lots to see and do in Bruges and surrounding area. A great late break.

out of 5The Ibis Centrum hotel was clean, comfortable, well situated and well priced. Bruges - a wonderful place to wander around. 3 day museum card (15 euros) a great bargain. Recommended: Brugs Beertje, a bar stocking 300+ beers, with friendly, knowledgable staff; De Proeverie tea-room - amazing hot chocolate.
