out of 5Hotel du Vin was good as we usually stay in these hotels if available. Disapointed in the evening meal - very expensive for what it was and heard similar remarks from others around our table. Breakfast on the first morning did not have items listed on the menu - another disappointment. I wanted to secure one of the special deals that are advertised for this hotel chain - rooms for £79.00 if you have dinner there tye of thing but I can never seem to find them when booking and if I ask staff they don't seem to know aything about them. This is a real let down for du vin (advertsing options and then they are not available and staff don't understand) kind of a bait and switch. I wish someone could explain this difference to me - why I get these offers on the internet but can't actually have them in reality.
