out of 5Flew from Doncaster at 7.45, only 55minutes in the plane. Taxis on Jersey friendly and helpful. The Royal Hotel had rooms that smelt of ciggerete smoke.Eventually got a twin room that suited, staff friendly. Breakfast self service and rubish. Bar exellent,bar staff helpful.Busses are a great way to see the Island, cheap, frequent and friendly. St. Helier a lovely town, plenty of places to eat. Starters the best, main meals could be too much or not well cooked. You did not go hungry.Jersey museum is well presented, you learn a lot about the Island and with a good cafe/restaruant next door a great place to spend a wet day.
