out of 5Visiting the island for the first time with my daughter for a week's "chill" break, we anticipated limitations to travel around the area because we did not have use of a car. However, the bus services were regular, user friendly, safe and cheap. Puerto Pollensa was our favourite resort with tasteful shops and eating places. The areas we visited were clean and the people friendly. The old town of Alcudia is a delight and bustling particularly at night, with a great atmosphere. The markets in both towns are well worth a visit. Our only regret is that we did not get to Formentor by boat. A trip we planned to take but were too busy relaxing in the glorious sunshine.The Hotel Maritimo was a great base. The hotel was immaculately clean and the services excellent. All the staff we met were very helpful and we would certainly choose this hotel again.

out of 5Hotel was very good value - immaculate, good food and facilities; location also ideal. One minor criticism: entertainment basic which was probably more noticeable because weather was poor and more time spent in hotel than normal, otherwise would use hotel again.
