Overall Hotel Rating:
out of 5Pleasantly surprised by the hotel. Excellent central location just off the ramblas. Hotel was quiet on a night-time, only noise was showers and toilets flushing in other rooms, which was quiet loud on a morning. We didn't have any view and looked out at a wall and into another room. Breakfast was simple, but adequate. Free internet use in reception. Good clean hotel and would definately stay there again.

out of 5The Architecture is wonderful, and the avenues are full of surprisingly beautiful examples of how Britain should have been planning cities in the 19th century- but didn't!For a balanced holiday, you have everything- La Rambla, with all it's period Gaudi's lampposts, restaurants, clubs and pavement cafes. The Port area at the end of La Ramblas and the Christopher Columbus monument.|The Beaches, fine for swimming and all sorts of activities , volley ball, football, water sports, and lots of shore front places to eat. There is so much to see in Barcelona that our 5 days was not enough. Please remember to use the Metro, it's efficient, cheap, easy to navigate and air conditioned. It will get you to all the sights and if you go further an integrated overland train service was found to be very good, especially to and fro from the airport.Too many places to see ,so here is a list (incomplete) of what we saw; La Rambla, Barri Gotic and Cathedral, Port Vell, Manzana de la Discrdia, La Pedrera, Park Guell, Montjuic and the funicular railway, leading to the Olympic Stadium, Cable car to the top and to the castle.
