The Colonnade a dream that comes true.......
Stay Date: November 2014 , Giovanna D , Torre Del Greco, Italy
I and my daughter stayed at The Colonnade on November, from 19 to 23. This fabulous hotel has always been my choice since 2003 and I have never been disappointed. … Read More The hotel has been recently refurbished and everything appears more confortable. We stayed in the room 17, The Freud Suite, and it is a WOW room! The room is on twolevel with the bed, a wonderful one, located upstairs. Downstairs there are a large sofa, two armchairs, small tables, frigo bar and a large choice of teas. Againthere is a wide screen television. The bathroom is simply fantastic, other than the toilet and two large sinks, you can find a very large, almost a swimming pool, bath, a shower, and there is also a bidet, this last one was very appreciated. The Victorian taste of this hotel is well shown and carefully kept. The room was veryclean like all the hotel. Through the years I have tried many of the Colonnade rooms and each one fully satisfied me. The people at the Colonnade are friendly andhelpful and I have to thank them all for their kindness. Daniela and Maggie are simply fantastic, they helped on everything we asked always smiling. Breakfast, we tookthe continental one, is served at the table and is a tasteful and a generous one. The location is perfect, just close to the Warvick Avenue underground station, a fewstops from Piccadilly and Oxford street with no changes, and despite you are in the central London the place is so quiet that you feel like you are in thecountryside. What can I say more? Everyone should stay even for a night at The Colonnade to feel the sensation to enter in the Victorian era. A truly wonderful experiencewhich I can't wait to do again. Collapse
