Some Good Some Bad

This was an overnight stay whilst attending an event at the men areana (which was easy to find and not overpriced but in dire need of a refurb!).... To and from the hotel i would highly recommend swan taxis as they were sooo helpful - from how to get where i needed to go and even how to access the arena as we had never been before, to how to get to the best waiting area to be picked up quicker at the end of the night. The hotel itself was good and bad ... I booked as 2 adults and a child but the childs bed was for a younger child and my child was 14 but over 6ft and the pull out chiar bed was terrible! The breakfast facilities and staff were a delight but the girl on the check out desk left a spoiled taste for the stay - she was rude and didn't even look at you whilst speaking and as for "thanks for staying, safe journey and hope to see you again"?? more like "give me your room keys as i have 2 other people waiting to check out".... Nothing like leaving a lasting impression ... That stayed with me all the way back to the m6!!!.
